Blindfolded Goat Catching is a fun traditional Vietnamese game often played in groups by children. One player is blindfolded and becomes the “catcher,” while the others play as “goats,” moving around and teasing the catcher. Using only their hearing and sense of touch, the catcher tries to catch and guess who one of the “goats” is. The game builds agility, quick reflexes, and encourages teamwork and laughter.

Chuyen is a traditional Vietnamese folk game, especially popular among young girls. Using a small ball and 10 sticks, players toss the ball into the air and quickly pick up the sticks in order, from level 1 to level 10, catching the ball before it falls.
Each level is often accompanied by playful folk rhymes, like:
“Level one: la not, xuong song, red tree, tiny fruit…”
Different regions have their own unique rhymes, adding charm and variety to the game. Chuyen is not only fun but also helps develop dexterity, quick reflexes, and preserves a beautiful part of Vietnamese cultural heritage.
